This is a free video tutorial. In this video tutorial, I will show you how to remove the background / make the background transparent using GIMP 2.8

GIMP is a powerful graphic design application that can be downloaded for free. In this tutorial, will use GIMP to remove a background from an image.

The background has lots of colours making it more complex to remove. We will also place an image onto a new background. We will use various tools such as the eraser and magic wand.
