Adobe Premiere Pro Green Screen FAQs

What version of Premiere Pro is best?

In the tutorial video above I used Premiere Pro 2021. In the latest version of Premiere, you will have access to the Ultra Key tool. This tool is also available in older versions of Adobe Premiere Pro.

Does the background have to be green?

No, the background can be any colour, but should not be constant with the foreground colour. In most filming setups the background is either green or blue.

Should I use studio lights when filming?

It is a good idea to have adequate lighting when filming for any project. Make sure your green screen cloth a matt and not reflective.
